It should be noted that the model HSG 0 is designed for intermittent use and should not be used for periods of longer than 20 minutes without a pause for cooling.

Features:  This is a 70 Watt capacity heater that runs on standard household current. The weight of this unit 1 kg.The small point Type HSG 0 is primary used in separating thin materials and for cutting round or irregular shapes. This small, convenient cutter is suited for work such as pattern departments, cutting out awning, filter cloths, sail materials and other fabrics as well as for cutting and welding synthetic cords and ropes. As well as the cutting tip, there is an RS cutting tip and an SF cutting foot available. This unit will heat up to 1000 degrees F, and should never be used for more than 20 minutes without cooling time in between. Since the blade heats in 6-8 seconds, this unit should be triggered only when cutting.

Uses: A blade takes 6-8 seconds to heat up. The heat can be approximately controlled by using the on/off action of the switch. Primarily used in separating thin materials and for cutting round and irregular shapes. Used for work such as pattern making, cutting out awnings, filter cloths, sail materials, and other fabrics, as well as for cutting and welding synthetic cords and ropes.
