1" 3M PS Prem. Perf - Sticky Backed, Loop - Black

Description: 1" 3M PS Prem Perf Loop- Black. Meets the requirements of F.A.R. 25.283 (b-3) and FMVSS-302 as is unattached and F.A.R. 25.283 par (b), (b-2), (b-3), and FMVSS-302 when attached to a thin metal panel. Tested and recommended on base metals, painted metals, polystyrene, acrylic, polycarbonate, rigid vinyl and glass.

Peel Cleavage:  Peel Strength: "t-Peel" : 1.3 lbs/inch width (223.1 g/cm width) "90 degree Peel".

Flexible to Rigid: 1.8 lbs/inch(313.2 g/cm width).

Product Contains:  6.6 Nylon hook, Nylon 6.6 Loop Pressure Sensitive Adhesive: Acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive.

Dynamic Shear Test: 4.8 lbs/sq.in. (33N/sq.m).

Temperature: Down to -20 F (-29 C) increases the typical closure strengths.

Thickness:  Product thickness is 3.2 mm.

Uses: Automotive, air craft, electronic and business equipment applications. Useful for anti-scratch surface, automotive interiors, medical braces, truck tonneau covers, attaching accessories and equipment, vibration and sound dampening equipment, watercraft and marine applications.

Water Resist: Closure strength of nylon hook and loop fasteners decreases after prolonged exposure to water mainly due to absorption by the cut ends of hook products. Closure strength is regained when dried. The adhesive has been formulated to withstand typical outdoor temperature, humidity and ultraviolet exposure conditions.
