Application: Adhesive backed products should be applied to above 68 F (20 C) to surfaces that are smooth, dry and free of oils or mold release agents. It is recommended to wipe the substrate with an isopropanol/water solution (50/50) or with heptane or methyl ethyl ketone) and allow to dry. With firm roller pressure, apply scotchmate allowing an appropriate dwell time at room temperature before loading or disengaging. Do not touch adhesive after liner is removed. To increase resistance to edge lifting, round the corners or recess products to substrate.

Features: Preshrunk to insure maximum dimensional stability and flatness. Coated on the backside with a high temperature acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive designed to function over a range of temperatures and humidity. This adhesive is especially suited for attachment to bare metals and a variety of substrates.
Flammability: Meets the requirements of F.A.R. 25.283 (b-3) and FMVSS-302 as is unattached and F.A.R. 25.283 par (b), (b-2), (b-3), and FMVSS-302 when attached to a thin metal panel. Tested and recommended on base metals,painted metals, polystyrene, acrylic, polycarbonate, rigid vinyl and glass.
Temperature: Down to -20 F (-29 C) increases the typical closure strengths.

Water Resistant: Closure strength of nylon hook and loop fasteners decreases after prolonged exposure to water mainly due to absorption by the cut ends of hook products. Closure strength is regained when dried. The adhesive has been formulated to withstand typical outdoor temperature, humidity and ultraviolet exposure conditions.
